but do you really think nog is in his prime at 32?
No, but he didn't go deteriorate that much between his Timmay and Mir fights either.

i just find it hard to believe frank mir hits that much harder than fedor does.

a guy can only take so much punishment from so many fights
agreed, but it is a steady decline. Not dramatic like it is being spun.

did i think nog was going to win yes.
as did I

Actually the cro cop thing was what I was referring to more then anything. He basically embarrassed himself in UFC IMO.
Wandy got beat by an even more past it Chuck Liddell IMO.
Nog......he looked pretty much the same against HH (minus the big kick) as he did in Pride IMO. I don't see why he would have THAT much of a decline between now and then.
I want to see Fedor in UFC so damn bad. If he loses, there better not be any of this damn "well he would have cleaned house 2 years ago" nonsense

nog and wandy are clearly done and yeah the vast majority of that came in pride, no doubt.
But were they ever as good as they were cracked up to be in the first place?

naw, prolly not. Still pretty badass though. But yeah Ricco Rodriguez should've gotten a win over Nog years ago. Wandy was clearly on juice and I think would've gotten raped by Couture back at the peak of "Wandy is the baddest man on the planet" time.

Not to mention Gomi getting rolled up into a ball by a high Nick Diaz.

and BJ whipped his arse before Gomi got on all that juice

do you mean the fight with kongo was an embarrassment?
while i agree, i probably would have walked out of that fight. kongo clearly hit him in the balls more than three times. gotta protect the babymaker.

Cro Cop's entire time in the UFC was an embarrassment IMO. Everyone said the only guy better was Fedor when he came over.
