Not sure it the ref should have stopped that so early.
Ref probably wasn't sure how badly Ige was damaged by that kick so was on a short leash with those follow-up punches.

Yep, he was still defending himself. No need to stop it.

Oh for sure. I wonder if the earlier fight where the ref didn’t stop it until late made him have a quick trigger on the TKO.

Yeah. He was defending. Got right up and walked over to the fence. Let him see a round 2.

What were the circumstances here? Meet me at Sonic and things got rowdy?
Both were from taking throws during BJJ training. First one I failed to rotate all the way and take the fall correctly, the second one my partner failed to fully complete the throw and dropped me directly on my shoulder/collar. Was sure I had broken bones both times but was fortunate to only have bone bruises. As a result, I retired from taking standup throws.

How long you been training?
I've been training almost 5 yrs. Wish I would've started when I was younger.

Well hey, even Michael Jordan and Tom Brady had to retire, happens to the best of us.

I'm getting close to 50, so I have to recognize my limitations. I'll still train BJJ, but only ground sparring now. Gravity is not my friend.

Hopefully the Croat makes some noise at 170. That division needs some juice.

Neal has become a trash can

Neal, Marigny, and Holland are all interchangeable.
