Yeah, it threw me for a loop when they said final round at the start of round 3.
As much as I dislike Ian Garry's persona and a lot of the things he's said and done, he's crafty and puts together gameplans to get the win.
Still wish Prates had knocked him out at the end of R5.

Yeah, Arman looking much more deserving than Gaethje and Paddy with this performance.

I don't think either Gaethje or the UFC want Gaethje to fight another non-title fight again to risk another loss and subsequently boot him from the title picture at this point in his career. Dana is going to reward him for being a good company man with a final title shot before he retires in the near future. Since Gaethje hasn't fought since March, time is running out to insert another contender between him and the belt.

Gaethje hasn't done anything to deserve another title shot. Armen needs to fight illia next, and I'm not even an Armen fan.

I mean from a marketing perspective, Gaethje is a much bigger name than Arman to put on the first numbered card of the new Paramount deal.
But does anyone think Gaethje could beat Arman at this point? I wouldn't bet the house on Topuria beating Arman, he's a serious challenge.

Then Ian was telling the security guy that Khamzat wasn't going to fight him because he's a champion, etc.
But Khamzat said something in reply to that, not sure what but it probably wasn't friendly.
So Ian said, 'What's wrong?' And I think Khamzat already didn't like him and took it confrontationally, so he pushed him.
I don't know. Maybe overall Khamzat didn't like Ian trying to pretend like they were buddy-buddy and how Ian was saying that Khamzat wasn't going to do anything. Letting him know we're not friends and 'I'll f*** you up, b****.'
