Yea, but Laborde is a proven winner, He has an AAU National Championship under his belt (or gut) and the ring to prove it!

Yea Laborde is such a great coach that the previous coach wouldn't even allow him on his staff

fricking laughable to think that Bass' standing at CHS is anything but strong.

Yeah, Bass is just fine at CHS. He won a state championship and then brought his team through the playoffs until losing to the #1 team in the nation. I don't think that can be considered a bad year. He's sending kids like crazy to Eunice (at least a few will end up being big time college players), and he still has Josh Smith for two more years, along with a killer group of younger players. He'd be stupid to leave for anything but a massive pay raise and/or a college job.

I would venture to say the real reason he didn't play is because the coach didn't want him to outshine the rest of the team.
