That is a damn fine directional school stadium
I have to agree except for the directional bit. Which direction is the school named for? I don't see North, South, East or West in the name...

On another note, how long until Hud moves up in the world? I think he has another year or two max.
Or another 6 years because that's what he just signed

I enjoyed attending USL games as a boy, my uncle was a booster of football and baseball to a larger extent. Good crowds and good games played in the Southland Conference. In college I was down in Lafayette visiting and watching the LSU - Ohio State game pulling hard for the Tigers. It was then hit with the revelation that people from USL wanted LSU to lose and let me know it. Over the years my amusement and disdain has grown towards USL and their sad attempts at Louisiana forgetting the Lafayette moniker and disregard for the other Louisiana in Monroe.
Put the seats in, I hope they're filled up, just don't try to make more of your university and it's place in the hierarchy.

Contract length don't mean shite. Hope there's a good buyout for us in the new contract.

Nah they open at home vs Southern so they'll have 40K to watch the band, then average 22 for the rest of the season and be excited about their 27K average

But at least we can take pride in knowing we didn't agree to play Arkansas in Little Rock, call it a home game and factor it into our average attendance.

Yep it was an amazing day. Warhawks beat another SEC team on the road( which the cajuns can't do, ) and got credit
For the attendance as well. ..... Pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

Congrats on beating John L Smith?
I'd ask how that win felt compared to a bowl game win but....

You're the one who was belittling it. Hell you've got people on raginpagin claiming you've beat an SEC team since A&M is now there

My point is don't knock another team's attendance when your own averages a pathetic 13,980 in its own stadium and has to use 55,705 Arkansas fans to bump their average above 20,000.

Fair enough . My point usually to cajun fans is dont treat fans from smaller state schools the way you say LSU fans treat you

Difference is, LSU fans have no reason to hate the smaller schools. As a Cajun fan, I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to tell Monroe fans to GFY. Right?

And Tulane, and mcneese, and Latech ?? None of them are even in your conference but the crap cajun fans give them is over the top
