the Urban Meyer and Ohio State hate and think objectively
I have zero problem with OSU... And IMO Urban has done a great job there... But its NOT about that.... its about doing something he should have NOT have done just to show honor to Earl Bruce by letting it skate.........................

The university also knew.
No charges were filed. I repeat. No charges were filed.
So other than the blunder at B1G media day what did he do exactly to lose his job at Ohio State?

You should be going off on the Powell police. They're the culprits here.
BTW, I stay with friends in Powell when I go up for games. Its an exclusive community and it looks like the police take care of that community from this story.

Title IX gives two shits about your legal charges.

You're welcome. Without your misunderstanding, it wouldn't have been as informative.

Why in the world would OSU suspend him if he followed the correct protocol? Doesn’t matter if he lied to media...all coaches lie to the media.

Lol that double-drag wanted Urban’s Head on a stake so bad it was so apparent today
Posted on 8/3/18 at 7:28 pm to ThePTExperience1969
Lord knows I hate the guy, but if we don't stand for Urbs, then everybody you support can be taken out by a dash of Title IX stupidity, SJW pitchfork twitter mobs, and media hype.

“I always believed if you willfully and intentionally broke the rule or you lie to the NCAA, you can never coach again. To this day, I still believe that. I’m not talking about mistakes made when you have a rulebook like this (thick). But if you intentionally pay a guy money or willfully have a second cell phone to make illegal phone calls, you’re done. You can never coach again.

It's been a tough day for a lot of them. They were so sure.

That part is confusing.
I think they put him on leave because of the national climate with women in the past year. Absolving him immediately might have caused a ton of scrunity (regardless of any facts they presented).
My guess is they also did it because 1) there was never an investigation by Ohio State into the ex-wife’s claim. So Ohio State is using the time to investigate where the breakdown occurred.
Or 2) they are just buttoning up all the items they previously discovered with their investigation to make sure they didn’t miss something.
I don’t think Urban is dumb enough to completely lie about reporting this. He would never recover.
