You mean to tell me that someone made a preseason prediction that didn't turn out to be true?!?!

For shame.

Georgia from 08 will have a case

Injuries decimated that team, not a good excuse, but I don't know how bad USC has been hit with the injury bug.

Apparently Barkley is done.

Dude will be plummeting down draft boards.

I forget what year but Penn State went like 9-4 with Curtis Enis and was ranked 1 or 2

One of the main reasons USC was ranked so high was b/c Barkley was coming back. He couldn't handle the pressure; definitely a bust. He likely won't even be picked in the first round. I wouldn't take him except to be a backup.

08 UGA was just overrated, far from a bust like USC this year.

The 1985 Auburn team had to be close.

7-4 is a terrible disappointment - but having only watched the highlights it looks like USC came back to make it a game after being down 20-0 before they woke up.

It sounds like Barkley played great before he was injured - so bad luck for him on that... I think maybe the stink of Kiffin will drop him down a bit on the draft day board

The other thing I think we should wonder about is how good UCLA is? They lost 50-0 to USC last year - that's one hell of a turnaround by Jim Mora (yeah, single game results prove close to nothing but they are 9-2 this year and have won the PAC 12 South)
