No, I didn't. Completely didn't(at least not before the game).
After the game I had to suck up my pride and go on with life. It sucked, hence why that game bothers me more than LSU last season.
Makes perfect sense to me?

Re-read. Again, research before typing.
And, in case it's a little tough for you to catch... it says the loss bothered me at the time. "the time" being during/immediately after the loss.
The pain didn't linger as did the UF game. LSU was supposed to win that game. LSU was the better team. The fact that LSU won just proved those points.
I could handle losing to the better team, especially considering the fans were so badass while down in NO.
Luckily, people like you must have stayed at home and watched the game on TV

all sarcasm aside, if you think that was fun, ya need to come down to baton rouge for a Florida, Auburn, or Georgia game...That is an experience (from 5:00pm Friday until whenever you go to sleep on Sunday)

I agree 100%. There should be no initial rankings until after the 5th week.
As for as the answer to this topic, if OSU loses to another top tier team from a different conference than the SEC, they are going to tumble in the polls. I think they would be out of the NC picture no matter what else they do.

I fully intend on making a trip to BR for a big game at some point. I'd like to hit up all the major stadiums for a big at least once in my life. Tiger Stadium is towards the top of that list.

Let me break it down for you honda:
In 06, we were preaseon #1, were #1 wire to wire and touted the Heisman trophy winner. Every single buckeye expected not just a win in the MNC, but a piss pounding of Florida. We were untouchable, cocky, and thought nobody even deserved to be on the same field as us. Obviously as you well know, the exact opposite happened. That loss didn't just hurt, it was humiliating. We didn't even have anything to say "we at least put up a fight" or "we tried our hardest but just came up short". We were destroyed...thats a loss that sticks with you for a LONG time.
In 07 we were preseason #11, and the vast majority of Buckeye fans expected 2 losses and best case scenario a Rose Bowl. We did not gain the #1 spot by virtue of winning, but by virtue of others losing. After the Illinois loss, I think we slid back to 5 or 6. After the Michigan game, if you go back and watch it our players all had Roses in their mouths because we were 75% certain we were headed to Pasadena. shite happened and we ended up in NOLA playing LSU. We were beat again, but this time I can at least say we were competitive and gave it our best shot but just came up short to a better team.
So, which loss do you think stays with a fanbase more?

Nope...was in section 501. My girlfriend and I got free tickets from her Dad. Had a great time. We sat by many OSU fans who didn't talk shite at all...even after beanie busted off that 67 yarder or however long it was. Actually had a good time with the bucknuts sitting around us

Hey all three of you Buckeye fams...the depth chart for YSU was released today. Boom Herron is listed as the backup to Beanie...kind of surprising.
