the Jazz does this every year, they go on a run that is built mostly on home victories, they are a team full of complement players that do certain things well with one legit star player(Williams). they will do as they do every year, win the first round and fold.

They made it to the Western Conference Finals last year and took the Lakers to 6 very tough games. Also, winning the first round of any NBA series means you are a threat to win the whole thing and thus a serious contender.

that is incorrect, that was the second round, and the Lakers could have ended it in Utah but they played tough at home like they always do.

If they get the two seed i'm going to say they will make it to the western finals. But i don't think they can beat LA w/o homecourt.

but just the year before they made it to the West Finals...last year lost out to the West Champs. (both years they lost to eventual West Champs)
GAME 1: JAZZ 98 @ LAKERS 109 FINAL
GAME 2: JAZZ 110 @ LAKERS 120 FINAL
GAME 3: LAKERS 99 @ JAZZ 104 FINAL
GAME 4: LAKERS 115 @ JAZZ 123 FINAL
GAME 5: JAZZ 104 @ LAKERS 111 FINAL
GAME 6: LAKERS 108 @ JAZZ 105 FINAL

they weren' exactly run off the court. Now they have another year experience

They lost in the 2nd round last year and in the western finals the year before and hadn't been to the playoffs for a while before that.

Only 3 relevant teams in the West are Los Angeles, San Antonio, and Houston.

Mark Jackson speaks out of his arse quite a bit

Especially with Jeff Van Gundy talking with him

The Jazz are a solid team. They are unstoppable at home. I just don't see them winning important road playoff games
