Currently the Ufc is over exposed to me. They have way too many PPV events. We are lucky to see one title defense per PPV. They need to scale down the number of events to maybe one every two to three months. Give us more headliners on one card. Hell, I would even pay more to see an event if it had more fights on the card with more title defenses.
The thing is though that the UFC is probably making a killing having a ppv every month.

Agreed. But that will fall with time. Just look at boxing. Boxing is the example I like to use. They have been the measuring stick for combat sports the world over. They use to have a boxing PPV every couple of weekends, but ratings have fallen off. The only problem is that boxing hasn't changed in the fact that they still only put one headline fight on a card. Give me a 3 to 4 great fights on a boxing PPV and I will love to pay for the event. But they are stuck in the past.

Dana needs to see where boxing went wrong, and avoid following them down the slope.

Agreed and the other thing that is killing boxing is the lack of big names.

2 completely different business models. Also besides the recent run of bad luck, a lot of PPVs in the past that didn't have title matches still had very good matchups and entertaining cards.
