Since we're on the topic of shafts, I've been doing some reading this morning...
The shaft I'm playing is designed for swing speeds of 96-102 and I'm more like 105-108. It also has a CPM of 251-255.
Reading up on CPM's and stiffness, if your shaft at impact is not straight (mine is still arc'd backwards) then I'm not playing with enough stiffness nor a high enough CPM.
Am I understanding this correctly?

My first golf trip back in like 2010 was RTJ Prattville for two days and Auburn for one day. Played 6 rounds in 3 days. It was a grind. But man, I loved it. I was a HACK then too. I mean like shoot 95 with just taking free drops all the time.
So I can't imagine how much I'd love it now. I played two RTJ in March and it was great. Wish I could have caught them right now. Probably prime condition.

Hmm. I might try and find a Cobra adapter and tip this old Aldila shaft I have that I broke in my old driver. See how I hit the new head with my old shaft.
