that's why we were undefeated in pre-lims, save the last useless game after we had already clinched.

You would be better off with Jim Abbott in goal than anyone you can throw out there. Joe Hart is okay, but Capello won't play him.

Your left back is injured, Rio is okay, but Terry is probably shagging Rio's sister. Johnson doesn't track back.

Gerrard is having the worst year of his career, Gareth Barry is okay, Lampard sucks internationally and will be out of position, and you have no wingers, unless you play Adam Johnson, who's damn good. But you won't.

Rooney will be injured. I feel this. And then it's Heskey or Crouchy's eating his nachos.

England sucks.

Our biggest weakness I'm not going to deny it.

he'll be back.

keep telling yourself that. He has played that position for almost a decade internationally.

SWP, Lennon, Joe Cole Theo Walcott, Downing, Carrick.

proof?

Defoe, Joe Cole?

England is a better team. You'll see that in June.

I'm not sold on Maradona at all and not even with Messi outside of the Barca system and soft play in La Liga.

Do you work for Sky Sports, or are you just brainwashed from watching Kevin Davies of Bolton hack his way to 17 goals a season?

Maradona is a shite manager but if he figures out that Messi can play centrally and even as a mid he can be effective. Also he needs to employ Higuain and bring Sergio Aguero off the bench.

No but I've seen enough La Liga to know it's soft and I've seen Argentina, and Messi, aimlessly stumble through qualifying. I'm not saying they can't or won't turn it around but thus far they have shown me nothing to think they will make a deep run in this tournament.

There is literally a 0% chance that England would beat Germany in a knockout game.

In a matter of two posts mere minutes apart you managed to prove you know absolutely nothing about soccer, congratulations.

Germany still won that group and went farther in the World Cup than England did. Germany shows up in big time games and England cowers in the corner, it's just the nature of the countrymen. Germans are proud people who will fight when all eyes are on them, England just kind of sits in the corner mumbling "We won in '66" while wetting themselves.

The only advantage Ghana has over the US is that the game would be played in Africa.

I'm not sold on this German side.

Is Mueller going to get a shot?

I'm pretty certain that Muller will be there, he's too valuable to leave home. He's too good at too many positions. The only thing I worry about it Joachim Lowe's loyalty to Miro Klose and Lukas Podolski. Germany shows up in the World Cup though.

No need to remind me of world cup '02. Nothing like having a beer to watch the game at 6am. Germany and England were both beaten by the same team and we gave Brazil a much harder test.

But yeah, we do have a lot to learn from Germany in terms of mentality. Their teams plays well as a unit even when it's composed only of average to good players. England are usually less than the sum of the parts, however, we're hardly the only team who could take a lesson from the Germans in mentality.
