The only advantage Ghana has over the US is that the game would be played in Africa

That's one. The midfields also are not close (Ghana has three far better than our best), the back lines are similar Jozy and Davies might be a better up front duo than what Ghana has but they will get no supply from the midfield. The only advantage the US has is in goal with Howard although Kingson is a solid goalie, especially by African standards.

I just like fricking with England because I feel like I have to. It's paying homage to my forefathers who beat the shite out of those Limey Brits.

The thing is, the entire country of Germany is united behind Die Mannschaft while in England, I would guess 40% of the soccer fans would rather their club team win the EPL than England win a World Cup. I've talked to some Brits who actually root against the national team.

The thing with African teams is that they're never disciplined enough to make deep runs in the World Cup, the Ivory Coast and Cameroon have been loaded for a long time but always fail.

Ghana is a good team for sure, but I think our boring brand of soccer will frustrate Ghana. Once a team gets frustrated, they start pressing. Then you start seeing those holes open up between the midfield and the defense, and that's where a guy like Landon Donovan and Clint Dempsey can really orchestrate a counterattack.

That may have been true in the past but now a lot of these Africans play in Europe so they are used to this style of play. Most of Ghana's team play in England and Italy so slow "boring" play should come natural to them.

You can hop on an African bandwagon man, it's just been the same thing for years. These African teams are full of stars but they always falter in the World Cup. Maybe the African soil will give them super powers.

If that happens, I'll drive to Canada and we'll have a crawfish boil of epic Cajun proportions.
