Who would it give an unfair advantage to if nobody at the table knows?

Im pretty sure they could find out. They do take breaks. I know this, if I was at the final table and hole cards were being shown on a delay, I would have someone watching and reporting back any relevant information. It would just create a very uncomfortable situation for the players knowing that their hole cards are being seen before play is complete.

A douchbag? Thats the best you could come up with? So your telling me, if the fricking hole cards are being shown and you are at the table you would not find out what so and so had on such and such hand? Let me answer for you, YES you would. Just like the other 8 people sitting at the table. Now get back to coming up with a better name to call me.

Is that much different than all these hands being reported online? I mean, they haven't played the final table yet but guys can go back and see how some of their opponents have played certain hands up to this point...or does the 4 month gap in between nullify this?

good article on our saints fan Darvin Moon

quote:

“My wife wants a lawnmower, but we don’t need a lawnmower,” said Moon. “But I told my dad if I win, I’m buying him a new pink Cadillac.”

quote:

Realistically, how short of a delay can you do to be able to show the players' hole cards (technologically getting it from the camera at the table to TV) but not provide information to the players at the table?
this is an example of how fast.

Daniel Negreanu vs Brock Parker

so if they flashed the cards to a camera like they do, they could do it, just too many hands to go through to do it live.

I just kept folding until I had a big hand. I limed with KK, he made his standard raise to 20, three others called. I looked at him and said let's see how good your hand really is and made on over the top raise of 200 to overbet on purpose. He calls with JJ and all the others fold. I just happened to get lucky and catch him when he got a hand. I really didn't want a call there

It's all about knowing when to get the hell out and accept that you may be getting bluffed. I got lucky because there was the black guy, and the drunk guy with about $1400. There was also another guy that came and bought in for $900, but he played really well, so I stayed clear of him if I could once I got big stacked.

ETA: I was thinking with the agressive guy, the more chips I have when I have a monster, the more you're going to donate to me. I never chased, and just waited until I could make it look like I was making a donk move.

if i had more chips i would have waited for a better spot and seen the flop but with 50 i had no choice with ak there. i just really dont understand what runs through people minds when they put lots of money in preflop with 10-6 and 8-4 is just fricking terrible

They are there to "gamble" and don't care. I hate it when I hear "let's gamble" at a poker table. If you want to gamble, go play craps and get your shitty play out of here.

ETA: To appease dvd, this only refers to the pure idiot calls. Such as sucking out with a 93 against my QQ when all in preflop and qualifying your play by saying "Lets gamble"
