@ this break, first thought I had was; is 2-6 in current chip counts making deals w/ each other and conceding the W? $3.4m for all of them is a solid day, Astedt is dominating them all.

He knew what he held. And I’d bet if he actually had 24 hours to think on it, it’d have been an over-bet shove OTT given implieds. He clearly didn’t want to have to cold a non-paired broadway/heart shove on the river. Hell, look at his body-language when he calls the AI, hopium he’s ahead vs a draw, while legit scared she’s got a set/QTs. And given proximity to the FT/amount she was covered, and how pissed he was after the 87/55 shite show, it should be obvious. Stop being dense

I’m sure Lena’s play is solver approved as there are plenty bluffs on that board, but man calling that off feels like a punt against an amateur.

Edit: Griff is out there blasting heads up. Might have just been a good call by Lena.

How utterly ridiculous was this idea? Concede it to him with 6 players left?

It's been a couple of years since I have paid any attention to this. When did they do away with that stupid November Nine stuff where they got down to the final table and then put the whole tournament on pause for six months?

They only did that from 2008-2016. I didn’t realize that lasted for that long though after looking it up.

They’re really lucky nobody died in the meantime between July and the November 9

I used to think of that all the time when it came close to time

If it was me, I don’t think I’m leaving my house before November . They’ve given you 9th place money beforehand so you’re flush with cash. I’m playing it as safe as humanly possible before the final table
