Jack has gone soft. Season 2 Jack would have teabagged Juma 3 episodes ago.

Erronious.....Isn't this an indictment of our entire American society?
Well you can do what you want to us but we won't sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America!

No you were not. But is you are that concerned about realism you still would not be watching this show. It was far fetched but they are going to have to do that to keep the show on edge after 7 seasons. Just relax and enjoy the ride.

7 pages and counting. I think after a bad 6th season that it is safe to say this show is officially back.

As far as who dies...
I have no spoilers, just my guess:
Not the President or daughter (24 has already done that, won't do it again)
We thought at one time Pierce and Bill were both going to die in this episode. But they didn't. They may be leading us on to an actual death to a bigger character.
My pick -- Chloe

Posted: Feb 02, 2009 - 3:26 pm (Blog) According to an Executive Producer of 24, David Fury, it seems that 24 will be on the air for at least two more years: "I would love to tell you of my other big plans and upcoming projects as I was certain I’d be moving on from at this time… But, instead, I am in the process of renewing my contract as an executive producer of 24 for two more seasons."

For the season finale they need to run all of the episodes leading up to the last hour. 24 hours of Jack would be amazing!!!!

this show does a lot of things in an hour.

True but i still believe it's either Bill or agent Walker. They're going to need chloe for the final episodes

Agent Walker gained my respect tonight.

OK, i'm now starting to not like 24. give me a break. it's that easy to get into the whitehouse? the secret service doesn't wear bullet proof vests? there's no escape route OR hard line out of the safe room? COME ON!!!
there would be tanks rolling on the whitehouse lawn seconds after the call came in.
i know it's TV but i mean they could at least make it believable.

I hope that they are naive enough to think that Giraffe-alo is beloved.
If the writers this season as the same as last, they should get docked pay for last year, then a boost for this one. Night and day. It is like Manny Ramirez is writing the show.

I could see Chloe dying, but not next week. If it's this season, it'll be later on. My guess is that it's Bill next week (if somebody actually dies, maybe no one does, who knows?). I think Jack likes/respects Pierce, but wouldn't be absolutely devastated if he was killed. Bill's a good friend, though. I don't think it's the Pres. Don't really know why, just don't.

I say either Pierce or Bill will die next week. Rene now has the hots for Jack and I guess she dies in the end. This season is very intense...gotta love it.
