Gotta go with Anchorman 2. The Hangover was funny the first time, but not so much the 2nd time.
Anchorman is filled with quotes that I still say to this day. Hopefully the sequel will bring more.

The Hangover is without question the most overrated movie on this board. I'm looking forward to Anchorman 2 and it's not even close.

It's that same old message board/Internet thing. When everyone goes in one direction about something obvious, make yourself look cool by going the opposite way.
Kinda like on the OT when dudes rate someone like Rachel McAdams or Anne Hathaway a 6 just to make themselves look badass.
If you say The Hangover was not hilarious, you are retarded. Goes for all of you.
Ding Ding Ding...winner

Will I see them both?

Or it just wasn't that great of a movie. The Hangover was funny, but not even close to as good as this board lead me to believe it would be.
Admittedly, I probably would have had a more fun experience had I watched this with some buddies instead of my wife and her parents.
So, Anchorman 2 all the way, though it will probably fall well short of the first one.

I want a glimpse into the psyche of someone that thinks The Hangover was not funny.
I started a thread on the inherent comedic value of male nudity because of The Hangover and it turns out that I'm in the minority for not immediately bursting in to laughter when I see a dudes arse. Apparently it's only a step beneath chimps and midgets for inherent funniness. I'm not sure why other people didn't like it, but it looks like I thought it was funny rather than hilarious because my sense of humor requires further development.
Regarding the OP, assuming they have a decent story in place, Anchorman 2 by a mile. The Hangover 2 would simply lead to a series of American Pie-esque sequels that would eventually go straight to DVD.

You realize that nearly to a person, this is the typical refrain when someone pans this movie? It's as if people put some much faith into an internet message board that if they don;t agree 100% with what all the other sheep have told them, then it must mean that they have to go running in the other direction.
I saw Hangover the second weekend it came out. I had heard a few things about people really enjoying it so I went. Really liked it, and I've enjoyed watching it a few more times at home. Was it the greatest movie ever? nope...but I thought it was damn funny and I don;t feel the need to bash it because I didn;t love it as much as others did.

Anchorman 2 by a long shot. They both have the potential to suck. But I think Anchorman 2 has the best chance at being greatness.

Why are people so anti-sequels? Does Godfather III make you unable to ever watch the first two again or something? OMG I saw Emmitt Smith play like shite as an Arizona Cardinal, I will never be able to remember that he was a great player anymore!

Neither. They are both stand alone pieces that don't need a sequel.
This.. End of Thread

I'm not bashing it. I actually thought it was decent. I'm bashing people who call others "retards" because they don't think it's the greatest comedy on earth.
