This is a fun, well paced, entertaining movie. Not sure why that a-hole wrote a complete synopsis in a no spoilers thread.

I agree. They should've built a whole fake California coast instead of cgi. And transformers should've been guys dressed up like robots. I mean just look at how stunning the old Godzilla movies were that didn't use cgi. Stunning.

It is what is it is...just a destruction film with pretty cool special effects where the hero attempts to save his family.

Saw it tonight. Thought it was fun. It has every single American disaster film cliche you could think of, which made it even more fun, right down to the American flag waving in the wind on the destroyed Golden Gate at the end.
