Y'all are making this too hard. I'm not saying Marty could have been his own dad, conceived the night of the dance. I'm saying if your wife had a kid (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) that was the spitting image of her high school crush, you'd have to wonder, no?.

I guess people have their own things about movies, but I pretty much watch movies to be entertained. In a movie like this or Forrest Gump or many others, I just enjoy it for the sole entertainment value it has, without trying to dissect it and contemplate whether a Delorean winging through time is possible.
But...when Marty rips the page out of the phonebook and the soda shop owner doesn't say a word about it? Well...
