This might be awful, but the current state comedies is so bleak, its not very hard for me for me to be excited about this.

I have a bad feeling about this. Like they will take something that was minor but funny about a character from the first movie but make it their whole personality in this one.
What? Stiller’s orderly character was in the movie for like 2 minutes and that definitely was his whole personality for those two minutes.

HG2 written by Sandler and Herlihy and directed by Kyle Newacheck

This has Dumb and Dumber To vibes...which was cool to see the characters 20-30 years later, but overall was forgettable.
It was actually unforgettable to me, because it was one of the worst comedies I've ever actually sat down and watched. The plot and the script were bad enough but Jim Carrey was just pure cringe. I don't know if he forgot how to do the character or just forgot how to act but he was so hard to watch, on the flip side I thought Jeff Daniels actually did a pretty decent job getting back into the character
Other sequels mentioned like Anchorman 2 and Bad Santa 2 I actually liked

1% chance this will be any good. The first one was a national treasure. Not many people watched or followed golf at this time. It was great to see Lee Trevino and such.

This is looks like it’s just going to be a nostalgia grab, but I’m still going to watch. The comedy scene is too baron of new material we just have to go with it.
How does Stiller’s character get pulled back into this? Happy’s been a pro golfer for decades now and has more than enough money to keep any of his relatives out of that nursing home.

The hill I’ll forever die on is that Anchorman 2 is GREAT. I absolutely love it. I don’t understand the hate for it at all.

He meets Hal again, who's now the nursing home facility manager, when he goes to visit a long retired Shooter McGavin.

I can't believe it has been 28 years already! Wow, time flys.

I won’t be watching. Ben stiller is now dead to me. Sorry, I can’t support an actor who thinks I am a racist, fascist and who thinks I worship Hitler - frick him.

someone check on Stiller and make sure he is on suicide watch because of FLTech's thoughts.

It’s also on several thousands of people’s thoughts responding to this announcement - all of X you frick face.
