dialogue is more than just forced.

they name drop so many god damn movies and quotes on there it's retarded.

but for whatever reason, i've been able to look past it and enjoy what little that's left over.

Giamatti and Damian Lewis both do a decent job with the crap they've been given to utter. The show is a mess and not in any way believable.

That sit down to negotiate a deal was bizarre to say the least.

Actually, I am a hedge fund manager and a U.S. Attorney and tell you it is very accurate.

In your experience it's common for an U.S. attorney to blow up a deal, a deal he put together and one that was agreed upon by the violator, at the very time of execution of the deal for no other reason than the U.S. attorney in question is a self absorbed prick?

The Giamatti character displaying zero control over his emotions and lacking the integrity to stand by his own agreement is an accurate depiction of how people attached to the U.S. Justice department operate?

The show's gotten better than it started out, but every time they give themselves the chance to really make something of it they throw it in the garbage. Last show was a step back.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Dick Leverage was kidding about being both a hedge fund manager and an Attorney General.

It's too campy for me to take it seriously, but it's a fun show.

On a side note, I'd let Maggie siff do whatever she wants to me.

anyone else see the finale tonight?

gotta say, show's gotten much, much better in the last few episodes or so.

I'm glad I stuck to it and finished it out.

It sure finished a hell of a lot stronger than it started. Too many things still seem contrived.

About 95% of this show is pure BS. The one thing I do appreciate about it is their willingness to show the type of scum who operate behind the shield of the federal government. People who are little more than criminals themselves. Think Lois Lerner, think Eric Holder.

Giamatti's character is so self righteous and self delusional, in his role as the "good guy", that he cannot fathom the notion of fault in his own actions.

That last scene with the offices all torn up and Giamatti and Axe talking was absurd, even fr this show. I still watch though
