you probably thought forgetting sarah marshall wasnt funny too didnt you, even though i think that was one of the best comedies in recent years

I never saw Sarah Marshall and I am not a homophobe.
I just don't think male genitalia is all that funny.
Most urologists probably don't see as much dick, balls and man arse in a single day as I did last night.
I was made to show my ID three different times. I wondered why before the movie began.
Now I know why.
Because Bruno is basically what I think a gay porn movie would be.

Just got back from this. It should've been rated NC-17 for sure. I thought it was hilarious. The swingers scene had me rolling laughing. The parents saying their little kids can do anything are very real. Some parents are fricking crazy about trying to make their kids famous.

yeah, some people left in our theater as well. mostly redneck types who couldn't handle seeing a dick on screen.
i saw it tonight and it had the shock value of borat 10x as already said. it wasn't as funny, but still very worthwhile. i'm still laughing thinking about the fight at the end.

Saw the movie today and I will say I left disappointed.
I enjoyed Borat, thought it was creative and funny.
Bruno not so much, I was bored throughout the movie, thought the majority of funny scenes were in the previews.
Overall the Hangover is 3x as funny as Bruno. I left filling I wasted hour and half and 9 bucks.

just got back and while it has some really funny scenes, it just reinforced what I originally thought about the Ali G show. Bruno is the third best character and is only good in small doses.
Some scenes were hilarious but there was a large part of the movie that felt forced to me.
My favorite parts of the movie were the kids' parents consenting to ridiculous shite, and the two vapid PR reps.
I love when he exposes stupidity...it seemed like he tried too hard to expose homophobia and that took some of the joy out of it for me. He kept pushing people until they were forced to snap, as opposed to letting them willingly say or do dumb shite.

just got back. I definitely laughed through out it...I lost it during the "blow job"...i was dieing. Not as good as Borat but definitely a solid effort.

I loved it!
Not quite as clever as Borat- He is undisputedly a funnier character - But hillarious none the less.
I will definitely be buying this when it comes out. I just hope they do another Ali G movie. In Da House was a piss poor attempt. Anyone know of any plans?

+ fricking 1. the previews made it seem way better than it was. I can honestly say i laughed more at blades of glory than bruno
