I know it probably sounds stupid or macho, but I really hope they pick an American for Captain America. Other superheroes I don't care where the guy is from, but for this one I think being American makes sense.

Will Smith would be an interesting take...
I think Matt Damon might be a good choice...
Chris Pine should be a front runner esp because he was in the running for the Green Latern for a while.
Bradley Cooper is also a possibility
He's pretty young

Have to believe that this Bucky character was so kids during WW2 would have someone that they could identify with in the push to war with Germany.

I think he turned into a bad guy...could be wrong though
eta: looked it up...He was a bad guy "Winter Soldier", after he got caught by the Rushkies. Later he becomes Cap after Steve Rogers dies.
