I liked it.
Loved all the callbacks to the first one, but the flashbacks were unnecessary, IMO.

I enjoyed the movie.
It just felt good seeing the crew back together. Lisa is still fine.
As to people discussing the job interview scene, what are y'all upset about? It was a nod to the dukes and it also established a funny part about the son being a fish out of water. He was raised hustling. Started off with "talking white" even though his uncle told him not to. Then he talks about privilege. Later he ends up being the one with privilege. It's part of his character development.
It wasn't great or deep. But it was a fun watch.
I really wish they could have got the Soul Glo guy in for a cameo

It was really just unnecessary tbh
I guess he wanted to have a nod to his earlier movies since they started in Trading Places and we're featured in Coming to America but just seemed out of place with the rest of the movie.
We had established already the sons background and how he wanted to be better than a hustler so that scene really did nothing for movie other than the SJW and nod to the Dukes. That could have been established many other ways as well besides that type of scene.

Too many critics in this thread. It was an entertaining movie that had a good mix of nostalgia to go with the reverse fish out of water storyline. Leslie Jones wasn't overbearing like she usually is, Wesley Snipes was good. Plenty of fine women, too, like the hairdresser. I enjoyed it, three stars.

WTF does that mean? I've posted once in this thread.

Feels like I've read the exact same thing multiple times about the movie unless I accidentally discovered you on Twitter and Reddit

Sorry, Turducken, I'm not on Twitter or Reddit. You know, people can have similar opinions without them being the same person, right?

Wesley Snipes was good
Because he was the only one in the movie that needed a paycheck. He was there to work.

Imagine all the leftist critics being ok with a man being ridiculed for his lack of masculinity because he has second class citizens for children because they’re female, but it’s all ok because while in America he was raped by a woman he describes as a hallucinatory warthog and she got pregnant with a son who can be the heir to the throne the man so desperately needs to validate his kingship. And the woman he calls a warthog is an overweight, African American woman. Just mind blowing.
That said, of what I saw of it, it got some smiling laughs out of me and I’ll finish it at some point.

It's one of those rehash sequels, basically the same movie with a few variables, terrible

I was enjoying it until the focus was put on the prince character.
Same, the Prince was annoying as hell to me. He brought the movie down.
Wesley was awesome as the General, my fav character in the movie. Tracy Morgan was good and Leslie Jones didnt even get on my nerves.
I liked the funeral as he was still alive.
Bopota, Snipes daughter, was fine as as hell

Teyana Taylor, great body, bit of a butterface.

It's one of the worst movies I've ever watched. I couldn't finish it but find myself going back. Like watching a car wreck.
Leslie Jones is possibly the ugliest human being in film history.

I enjoyed the movie and thought it was a fun sequel. I didn’t find anything offensive at all.
