I'm on my second viewing, this time with the Misses, so I'm about to find out. So far so good though.
I know the soundtrack is only getting better as I watch it a second time.

I try not to gush too much about a movie immediately after watching it.

Just watched this last night. Thought it was pretty good. Definitely a very understated, not in your face film. The acting was superb. My only critique which hurt the movie or the enjoyment of it for me was that I think Gosling's character was a little too understated in the beginning. Scenes with Mulligan where there would be extremely awkward silences between the two. Just felt unnatural. I just kept thinking the whole time "Dude, say something. Anything."
Also *mild spoiler below*
in the opening get away scene, did he just ditch his 2 clients at the game to get caught? How did that not come back to get him?

That was his plan all along. That was the drop off spot, it's the reason why he was listening to the game.

Because of the OP I went to Redbox and got it.I just finished it and I liked it a lot.
Since no one has mentioned it yet I'll add that it almost seemed like an homage to Thief, or maybe that was just because of the Tangerine Dream-like soundtrack.

Awesome movie. Loved the look of the film and the soundtrack. Gave me an 80s feel. Will definitely buy the Blu-ray.

i had it preordered from amazon, but couldn't wait until next week to watch it. i had a free redbox rental, so i used it on this. i was blown away. it left me wanting another 2 1/2 hours or more. gosling is so hot right now, it's damn near unbelievable.

after he was stabbed, i can't describe the anxiety i had hoping he would blink, lick his lips, breathe, anything letting us know he was still alive.
