I wanted to punch the stupid whore chick in the face because she won't make up her fricking mind. Omg I love you Edward! Then she runs to that douche that doesn't wear a shirt. The whole scene in the tent made me want to throw up. The girl has the lowest self esteem ever.
This.
It was annoying.
Edward: "I know you love him."
Chick: "But I love you more."
Edward: "I know."
That dude just accepts her cheating on him and whatnot. frick that. And what kind of lesson is that teaching to young chicks...that it's cool to think with your pussy as long as in your heart, you love your boyfriend "more"? bullshite.
I also didn't like how she practically was begging Edward to frick her and take her virginity. Watching that shite made me cringe thinking about how many impressionable young girls were lining up to see it.

Is he the dude with the longer hair? He seemed to be the only logical one.

It's like the whole movie is her getting put into those predicaments. Oh look Jacob has to carry her now!
Yea that was in the civil war.

Eclipse was better than the second, which was almost impossible to do otherwise.
Eclipse was about the same as the first one.
They tried to bill it as "action packed", but you pretty much see every single action sequence in the trailers. They build up to this war that is supposed to be epic, with heavy losses on both sides.
Instead you get a 30 second, barely plausible grouping of fights. Not one loss on the good guys side, surprise surprise. Except for the pining pussy who gets a broken arm or something, none of the good guys even get injured.
I keep getting dragged to them. I would assassinate Stephanie Meyer, but that would only martyr her.
Don't even get me started on the foreshadowing. It was like Meyer read "Foreshadowing for Dummies", and just added some weak examples from there and incorporated it into what I saw.

I pointed it out to my wife, too.
Since when are men responsible for a woman's virtue?

Are you serious?
This is what I think happened:
* Just my personal opinion
Each movie had a different director so they've all been different.
Movie #1: Tried to make it like the book. Ended up being awkward and cheesy and weird. People were disappointed.
Movie #2: Realized how awkward #1 was and decided instead of improving, they'd embrace the cheesyness. Yes, it was nice that they made themselves aware of the awkward acting in the first movie, but I don't think mocking it was the way to fix it. I was most disappointed in #2 because they had a chance to fix what the first director did wrong, and they made fun of it instead.
Movie #3: Finally, the movie had action. Yes, there were some cheesy love scenes but the books are cheesy so it's expected. The fighting and the love scenes were made more adult-like than the other 2 movies and it wasn't filled with awkward acting. They did much better than they did in the other 2 movies IMO

This is all true, but this goes back to critiquing the books.. not the movies as much because they're just putting on the screen what happened in the books.
I read all the books and personally, i think the story sucks. The author spends 500 pages per book writing something that could fill 100 pages. Seriously, 4 pages covers one conversation because she just drones on.
Nothing really climactic happens at any point. I watch the Twilight movies because I read the book and I think it's fun to follow along, but to say it's a quality storyline is just insane. I agree.

According to Stephen King, "Both Rowling and Meyer, they're speaking directly to young people... The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can't write worth a darn. She's not very good."
