Bumping this as I caught up last night.
I'm not sure I enjoyed that finale. It had some really good parts, especially on Trantor, but the reveal of Bayta as the real Mule was kind of bullshite. The skydive from the space station? I can suspend some belief, but really? Demerzel's death was kind of infuriating as well. And why did Gaal bail on Vault Hari like that? I know she thinks Hari 2.0 is dead, but she still could have tried to help Vault Hari.
My boy Day got done dirty. He's been my favorite Day, and to have him meet his end at Dusk's hands like that was heartbreaking.
I also have a problem from earlier in the season where Demerzel does not know about the super weapon. I thought she audited Empire's memories?

The trap for Demerzel was lame. The baby wasn't the only option for continuing the genetic dynasty. She could have over-powered Night and used his DNA or Day's to make more clones.

She's a robot with basically superpowers. Surely she had enough time to grab the baby and take Dusk down. Instead, she falls on the grenade. It's just hard to believe something with her compute power came to that as the best solution.
