Gotham is bringing straight heat the last couple of episodes. My favorite show on TV right now with Agents of shield coming in 2nd. Next weeks episode looks to be a doozy with Jim & Hot Crazy Barbra facing off.

I saw it coming with this response but now that I've seen the whole thing, I'm glad she's dead. That was a mid-season finale type episode huh? Pushed a lot of plot points into the next phase. Loving Edward and the Riddler merging, loving Penguin's scheme to hit up the gala, and most of all I'm pumped that Jim is once again pitting himself against the biggest of the big dog's and to his face.
This whole show started getting interesting to me when Gordon was taking on everyone early in season 1, so it's nice to see him in that kind of situation again but cranked up a few notches.

Been surprised how graphic and bloody the show has been.
I wonder how much the writers and producers had to sell the bigwigs at DC and the network to let this fly?

Anyone else catch the reference to the Batman Returns with Danny DeVito as Penguin? When the new mayor was talking on stage he was basically saying what the mayor in the movie said about Penguin. I didn't look it up word for word or anything, but it definitely seemed like they were making an allusion to the old movies.
"Unloved child. Mother didn't like him" etc etc.

Loved the episode. I cracked a grin when Selina made the "slap in the face" comment to Alfred. I wonder if Jim and Bullock are going to tell the commissioner about Galavan, or are they just going to not even bother.
And I can't wait for the Barbara heavy episode next week.
