Me and my girlfriend went and saw this today. We both liked it. I thought the first hour was excellent and she even cried when the first Horizon town was attacked. The army storyline with the wife and daughter were the best.
I did notice there are families with the same last name…by design?
The last hour is slow
I’d certainly recommend it.

I tried watching it but man it was boring and the editing was all over the place. I stopped about halfway through

3 of the ladies in this were absolute smoke.
And the bathing in the drinking water scene? Yes, please…

Watched it on Max yesterday. Some thoughts:
- the scenery looked too perfect - almost over saturated
- the scene with the Indians attacking the house was great. However, too many disjointed storylines. I couldn’t keep up
- Luke Wilson was fantastic. Costner didn’t have a presence. Then Costner casts the bad guy from Yellowstone to play the general? Joke
- Indian actors did very well
- too long
- montage scene at the end? Bizarre
- Costner put up $58M. He’ll be resurrected as the second coming after Yellowstone writes him off at the beginning of this next season to pay the bills

Horizon Chapter One is now available on Netflix.
One question. What was going on with Marigold screwing the young guy, leaving with him and then abandoning the child with the Chinese family? Did I miss some kind of time jump there? Moments before Costner and her and kid were evading the Sykes clan and the next thing you know they are in a camp settlement.
