Based on the reviews (best ever Stephen King adaptation by some) I was expecting something great if not profound. It was just ok and arguably even boring. I kept waiting for a part that was going to really move me but then the film ended and I was like alrighty then. Ironically that was one of the themes of the movie - that waiting is the hardest part. I think the main themes are to live life to the fullest and that we're all connected on some universal level. These are not ground breaking ideas.
Eta there was a part where the internet goes down and the resulting loss of pornhub that was funny

True, but i can't think of another movie that delivers said ideas with such a non-traditional structure.
I liked it a lot, even though i found some flaws. And I was never bored. I loved the first 30-40 minutes.

saw it today, I really liked it. The dance on the street was great. Is it the best King story to movie...No. It's still behind Stand By Me and Shawshank.
