Long Way Home - Ewan McGregor - AppleTV

Anyone watch this. It’s the fourth installment of a series that follows Ewan McGregor and his buddy Charlie Boorman as they ride their motorcycles across Europe. The first season was 20 years ago and they rode from London to NYC headed east. All 4 seasons are on Apple. I’m a big fan of the show. Ewan seems like a really normal celebrity that seems like he’d be one of the few that I’d have a drink with and shoot the shite. Charley too but he’s barely a celebrity, at least not in the US, but cool guy as well.

They should have double-checked their hypotenuses before that one.

My wife and I just finished all 4 and loved them.
Long way round was definitely my favorite.
Long way down was interesting watching parts of the world I knew nothing about. As it was filmed in 2006-7, that Kony warlord gets a mention. You could tell the guys felt rushed early on and it kinda carries over throughout the rest of the season.
I was looking forward to long way up the most, but being as that one was done in 2019, they decide to do it on electric bikes and the very first Rivians ever built. That becomes one of the story lines and it’s still less of the getting to know the locals.
Long way home was great, beautiful leisurely drives through out Europe. Back to the long way round theme of “it’s not about the destination but the journey.” Filmed in 2024, their age is clearly showing.
Apparently Charley has a few travel shows.
Fun fact: his dad directed Deliverance.
TLDR: Watch it.

I wasnt aware how popular these "ride bikes across the world with others" shows were until playing death stranding and they had the crossover with Reedus's show. I did enjoy this segment with Keanu

I watched the first two when they came out. I didn’t even know about Up until Home came out a couple months ago. I’ll give it a watch.
