3. I'm not even convinced the bomb detonated. The hatch was still built, and the flash of light and fastforward through time could have been caused by jacob's death.
I think Jacob's death allowed the Losties to be free to change the past and therefore bend the rules of "Whatever happened, happened".
Everything was following "fate" and as soon as Jacob died, we see Juliet miraculously wake up and detonate a bomb with a small rock that SHOULD easily detonate on impact when it fell before Jacobs death.

thought the same thing..very cheesy looking. it certainly didn't look very authentic.
It wasn't nearly as bad as when Sayid looked out of the helicopter to see if the fuel was leaking.

Nothing compares to the shite-tastic CGI submarine from the end of last season
The difference in those examples was that I at least knew it was part of the show. As I said before, when the periscope popped up, I almost fast forwarded because I actually thought it was a cheesy commercial playing off the lost theme. I half expected to see some rich guy inside saying "when I take my submarine to my private mystical island, the only mustard I allow on board is grey poupon. Anything else would be uncivilized."
Luckily I realized the rich guy was Widmore, so I kept watching.

Lol
The absolute worst CGI moment in the entire series is the launch of the Galaga near the end of season 5.
Around 39 minutes

As far as the enhanced episodes go, i saw where someone posted that they aren't made by the writers of Lost. -I had a problem with one pop-up that stated that "the flash sideways is what life would be like if the plane hadn't crashed on the island"; obviously there's more to it since desmond is on the plane and shannon isn't
Yeah, the enhanced episode from this week said that Dogan did not kill Sayid because if he did it he could become infected by da darkness. Not really sure what I think about that.
BTW, longest LOST thread of the season

Completely off subject...I keep seeing people state how many posts are in the thread. Where do you get this #? I don't see that anywhere. Please tell me y'all aren't counting.
Posted on 3/12/10 at 10:01 am to BhamTigah
It's on the main movie board. There's a line that says replies right next to who started the thread.
WIth this one the total is 929.

Thanks for teaching me newb.
I was looking within the thread itself, without going back to the main page.

The alt. timeline began when Juliet detonated the bomb. Everything that happened before still happened. Dharma evacuated before the bomb blew.
Hence, Ben and his father were on the island but left.
It's not that hard to follow.
are you still convinced of this theory after reading my post?
Posted on 3/12/10 at 10:16 am to vorenus23
Yes.
And furthermore, I don't think it's ever going to be explained. I'm fully expecting it not to be.

You are a funny little man.

Yes. Jughead split the timeline. There was this science article that claimed that this is scientifically feasible, but I'm having trouble finding it.
Posted on 3/12/10 at 11:55 am to OMLandshark
It can't be as complicated as the Zelda split timeline theory.
