I did just that and what I got was some character who was known by fans as the "asian cowboy" who hasn't been on the show since season 4 because the actor moved to california. I'm not making this up. Its what I got when I searched.

with Sayid's moral gray area, I still think it's possible he's killed Dokken and the worm just to gain favor with MIB, but will also be his downfall and end up being the one that is the main reason MIB is defeated

My favorite sayid feature was probably in season 2 when he beat the shite out of henry gale (ben linus) and flashed back to torturing his former republican guard commanding officer.

I agree. Easily Sayid's best episode. If they knew who Henry really was, I don't think that Jack and Locke would do anything to stop Sayid from beating the crap out of him.

Sayid was so keen that even upon seeing the balloon and the grave his instincts told him to dig up the body.

god just try to put yourself back to the spot when you didnt know who henry was. i would have never imagined that he is all that he is now! does anyone have an idea what the guy(loche)meant when he told richard "its good to see you out of those chains."

I also have to go back to the fact that sayid was the only one who saw through michael's retarded paper-thin plot that same season. Nobody else found it remotely suspicious that michael's a-team included hurley, a guy who had never shot a gun before and is basically a liability over distances, and glaringly omitted sayid, the "one guy who has fought in a war" as sawyer put it.

I never really fell for Henry Gale not being an Other. For much of the episode I was feeling bad for that guy just getting destroyed by Sayid but that look when Sayid was being forced out and Sayid gave his reasoning, I believed him and was very confident he was an Other.

that wasnt a stupid question was it?

I take it that Richard was once a prisoner...most likely on the Black Rock.

i def thought he was an other but not BEN LINUS! like the end all be all head evil bastard of the others. i had no idea that he would be a dominate force in the show.
Posted on 3/8/10 at 12:04 pm to SaintsRbettrthanlsu1
yea...ive had that thought.

I think it was a double entendre... His literal chains as a slave and also the figurative chains jacob had on him before his death.

what if when the black rock crashed on the island jacob richard and the other guy where part of another candidate list and they are the end result just like "2" of the oceanic people will eventually take their spot......deep. yal prob already had this disc. but im a little slow.

neither did the writers
he was so well received by the viewership, his role/character arc was expanded to what you see now

Jacob wasn't on the black rock because as we see at the beginning of "the incident," he is bringing the black rock to the island.

I believe that Jacob and MIB were already on the island before the Black Rock arrived in the mid-to-late 1800s (I assume that is the vessel we see off the shore of the island at the beginning of the Season 5 finale). I do believe that the Black Rock was/is a delivery vessel in the same way as Oceanic Flight 815 and Ajira Flight 316...all were used to bring certain people to the island. Kate was the prisoner on 815...Sayid was the prisoner on 316...Richard was/will be the prisoner on the Black Rock.
