I seriously doubt that their final goal is to be an $8 a month niche streaming service instead of a $25 a month market leading streaming service. Projections are that their cost of licensing is going up tenfold in 2012. If they don't want to go out of business they have to get more content to attract more subscribers at a higher price point.

I disagree. I certainly think they're trying to get away some from the DVD side of things as postage is estimated to cost $600mil a year, but they are interested in continuing to increase their streaming services. Hell, they're even starting original programming.

Pretty sure it was the same issue. A day or so of streaming being down.

And they didn't say the other thing, I was mistaken. The point of this thread was to make fun of a quarter refund. Not to bitch about the price increase or that I didn't get $10 applied to my next month's bill.

Sorry for sidetrackin'?

The problem was when they were down.
Four hrs or so on a weekend night is worth more than middle of the week.
There are only 4 Sunday nights a ,month and I couldn't watch anything on Netflix which blew.
I ended up watching Glengary Glen Ross again on DVD.
