A24 is single-handedly lighting the way for feature-length narrative films in this derivative age of cinema.
A juicy plum of a role for Hugh Grant, who decidedly does not play Hugh Grant for once. Some nice writing, effective lighting and set design, and smart camerawork for its essentially contained story. The understated direction and action thankfully never reaches for the melodramatic. All on an absurdly low budget these days (reportedly $10 million).
It deserves a bigger, more enthusiastic audience.

There was a thread for it. Buddy of mine says it was good just don’t think a lot of people have seen it yet.

Enjoyed it, definitely more unique than most new movies

Liked the overall movie, didn’t care for the ending twist.
I think Hugh Grant was a perfect choice for the role. Could switch from charming to creepy/threatening in an instant
