Why did some of the dead bodies not turn into walkers when they died?
They all looked to have a hole in the head somewhere through the eye socket mostly.

Probably shot from a moving car on a bumby road in that case.

that’s what makes TWD great, it lets your imagination fill in the gaps of scenes like the country club… which can be much more interesting than what they put on film.
I really liked the club set up. It was obvious they put a lot of thought into the back story, it seemed like one of the more well thought out "just a background setting" places that they've done. Nearly every room told a story, much more so than any other scavenging environment they've been in before.

would be cool if they could roll up on some shite going down.

I'm thinking that country club sets up well for a webisode series for next season.

And the shooting schedule doesn't match up exactly we may revisit it at some point.

did not read the postings. Was the sexual tension between Daryll and Maggies sister discussed?

I just finished watching this episode. The whole time I kept waiting for them to hook up.

The funny thing is that Rick and his crew have left a pretty broad wake of destruction in their path that would rival these situations. CDC, the ranch, Woodbury, that place where they had the rendezvous with the Governor, the prison, etc. Only I think the walkers have probably "cleaned up" a lot of those locations unlike the country club and some of the places they come across.

I thought she was 18 in this season....
But yea I just watched it and thought it was a good episode. Any episode that features mostly Daryl is a good one... hes just the man. Add a hottie like Beth and youve got a good episode. I would love if they did an episode of Daryl and Michonne going on runs and just merking walkers the entire time with the katana and cross bow.
But, like many posters have said, I love the 2nd half of this season. Completely diff feel and vibe than most of the rest of the series. And a lot darker IMO. Last week when Michonne was clearing the house with Carl and that scary painting and room with all the dead people was down right creepy. Same at the Country Club.
Character development and history with a creepy vibe going on a good bit it making it very suspenseful.
I do think that Beth foreshadowed Daryl dying soon... by saying hes going to be the last man standing and shes gonna die and knows it and wants him to be himself. Daryls gonna sacrifice himself to save her IMO. Which would suck.
I wasnt able to post in last weeks thread because I just watched it and Sundays episode tonight. But who thinks that Doc is full of shite and just a nut job gathering people around him to protect him? Dude was weird. Oh and that hispanic chick.... soooo hot.

I'm pretty sure I remember reading a quote from a writer saying they won't be killing Daryl anytime soon. He's their most liked character and their most profitable merchandise wise.

the fact that he hasn't familiarized himself with an Assault Rifle during the Z.A. and on his own took out their armored transport..if i was Abraham and he told me he was smarter than me after that..he would have gotten some shite talked to him at least.

I would have told him to fend for himself if he was so smart.

Yea Im not saying anytime soon... but i think she forshadowed how hes going to die or something. Or maybe Beth gets killed soon.... who knows?
And yea I agree if I was Abraham I would have beaten the shite out of that doucher. And that "scientist" had a weird smile on his face when they started following Glen.
The hispanic chick... so hot.

I do love the character development episodes, but this one kind of seemed like filler material to bring this season to a close with a ridiculous cliffhanger. I guess Maggie's group is next in the chute so we can see all the problems they're having.

I think it's an overgeneralization to call this episode "character development" or a "filler." The formula has been to see how each set of characters has dealt with 1) losing their home 2) not knowing whether everyone they love is dead or alive 3) the reality of their new situation. This episode did all that in addition to providing some "character development." It's pretty similar to the formula of Lost. Not a lot happens each episode, per se, but you learn a lot.
If the show moved with the pace some of you wanted it to, the ZA would be over by now, and we wouldn't know interesting stuff like Daryl never had a pony.
