Considering how unfunny Step Brothers actually was, that must mean Pineapple Express is the worst movie of all time if you're saying SB is 20x better.

starts off stupid but really hits its stride in the second half IMO.
It's over the top, but i would put it close up there to Knocked up and 40. Franco really is the only thing in the movie that makes it special. He is hilarious. Rogen is Rogen, and the other characters are okay.
It's not the funniest thing ever, but i was pleasantly surprised.

They develop all of the characters better. Almost everyone has a hilarious line. The action scenes are very good, fights almost Bourne-like, some great one liners(Not as many as Superbad, or maybe I just cant remember.)

unfortunately yeah brother. i was looking forward to this movie for a while and it was terrible. and i thought superbad and knocked up were way funnier than this. there were like 3 or 4 parts in the movie that actually made me laugh out loud, a few chuckles and a lot of ehhhhh moments. seems like they tried way to hard imo.
did anyone catch the hints that the long haired dude was a gay?

Like they said, if you liked Superbad and Knocked Up, you'll like this. It's not as fresh as those two, but its legit. But its their kind of humor plus Franco's performance is hilarious.
