I’m not saying that Pitbulls are nanny dogs they aren’t. But Pitbulls attacks weren’t as common back then. Sure nanny dog was untrue, but they weren’t seen as monsters back then and they aren’t monsters even today. Sorry if this brothers you, but there are million of Pitbulls who never maul or kill even after death. YouTube search Pitbulls saving lives or look it up on search engine.

A lot times the news misidentified Pitbulls. Some breeds are misidentified as Pitbulls. Look up breeds that are misidentified as pitbulls.

What the ones who never maul or kill even after death? Also people who say things like that never tell the whole story. Like did they left their dog a lone with the kid. Did they train it well? Was the dog chain up? Chain dogs are more aggressive. There are so many factors and non is the breed because they aren’t bred for human aggression. Did the dog develop or had mental problems?

Because dog man and dog women didn’t know what they were doing. Please it sounds like you are saying they accidentally created a breed that was human aggressive. Please these people knew what they were doing. They didn’t want a human aggressive dog, so those traits weren’t bred into Pitbulls or very rarely. They want dog aggressive Pitbulls. Not to mention that not all Pitbulls were use in dog fighting. Yes people of the early 1900s were wrong about them being nanny dogs, but we are wrong about them being monsters. They are neither. And the example that you use doesn’t prove that pitbull attacks were high during that time. Sure they happen in the early 1900s, but during that you was more likely husky attacks. Those dogs were once seen as monsters, but of us today don’t see that. We shouldn’t trust society on how to see a breed because how a breed is seen changes. Huskies and Pitbulls weren’t demons or nanny dogs either today or back then. Same with the Doberman.

Another uneducated person. You guys accuse us of being uneducated. They are bred to be aggressive towards dogs not humans and not all Pitbulls were use in dog fighting, so not all came from a “blood line of killers.”

Why? They aren’t killing machines. Only an idiot would think that they are. They aren’t nanny dogs, but they aren’t killing machines either. I mean there are many Pitbulls who never maul or kill even after death. YouTube search Pitbulls saving or look it up on search engine. Plus a lot of those killers are misidentified breeds. They aren’t inherently dangerous. And not all Pitbulls were use in dog fighting.

Pitbulls that weren’t being bred for dog fighting were keep as pets. They still aren’t nanny dogs, but they aren’t killers.
