So apparently half sack wasn't really supposed to die, but he was bitching about his contract so the writers had wrote in the season finale to have him killed mid filming

Yea, half sack was ready to go. I hated to see it happen but I guess he wasn't happy.

Here's some other thoughts on the finale...
-Last 15 min of the show just went a little too crazy with Gemma following Polly into the house, that changed everything.
-The count punch was awesome! I might remember that more than anything, lol
-The bullets in Polly and Eddie will show that they don’t match. Stahl said the gun used to kill Polly was her own, but it was Gemma’s, that bitch will get nailed for that failed coverup. Maybe Opie will make a final visit with her like he said.
-Clear the kids out the convenience store, walk in and take out Zobelle. I mean C'mon man what's an extra one minute? It did show alot of character for Clay to just leave Zobelle when Jax called for help. Family > revenge but he could have at least told Tig to say and take care of Zobelle.
-Is SAMCRO going to hunt Zobelle down overseas, put a contract out on him or just let him walk away? At least his daughter's blood is on his hands.
-Gotta think the ATF was watching and tracking the boat, they might pick up Cameron and rescue Abel unless Abel will grow up as a new leader of the Irish Mafia or something, lol.
-Thought Tara's new badass image would come out when Abel was threatened (even though the baby is not hers) put up a fight, go for the gun while Half-Sack was stabbed. Maybe she thought she could handle all the violence, maybe she leaves.
As good as the season was the finale was frustrating but sometimes that's how it goes...everything is not a nice perfect ending. Ready for next season now!

I finally got a chance to watch it off the DVR last night...
Yes. The count punch was awesome. But the douche bag should have shot her when he had the chance, or he should have followed up with a shot to the chin after the count punch.
Gemma was in the driver's seat and knew it. She fell for that gun toss trick. To which I simply would have wiped it down real quick before dropping it. frick that ATF whore. Shoot me.
Clay not walking in and capping Zoebelle before riding off to help his family was lame.
The SOA killing have the Mayans but letting the leader go was stupid. Shoot them all and put all the bodies and bikes in the back of that big arse truck.
Tara had to know where a gun was in that house. She should have made a move when the prospect got shiv'd.
The whole thing with Westin's kid going to the bathroom was stupid. A better scene would have been him catching a bullet, and then cutting to the kid waiting in the chair outside, playing some sad song.
Did Clay and the other's not know they were going to the docks? The time spent on the side of the road waiting for Jax might have been enough to rescue Abel.

Sounds like the show will be going to Ireland next season.
