No one was cast in that movie to act. If that's all you got, you got nothing.

so he does a shitty job in a serious role and that's your response ? I guess you can't lose then

He terrible in anything serious and pretty good with comedy. Unless he is doing pure comedy, he is a terrible choice

Not a big Channing Tatum fan but JJL is a bigtime milf. Makes me kind of horny even just thinking about her. Hopefully it will be better than Django Unchained.

A movie about a bunch of strippers was serious?

he was great in Water for Elephants.

Speaking of, is it bad that animal cruelty gets me more in movies than human cruelty?

I agree with him on Kill Bill. It would have been a better movie being one movie. And the ending is atrocious.

Dragged on far too long and relied too heavily on the disjointed stories of the six in the group that we knew were going to be killed off so she could get to Bill, and even that part dragged on waaay too long. Most of Tarantino's best action-scenes are anti-climactic in that the other guy gets wasted pretty quickly and brutally, but circumstances immediately following are always pretty hectic. (Think Travolta in PF, Hammersmark in IB, King in DU) I don't really want to ruin Hateful Eight or anything for you guys, but don't go in with lofty expectations.

excellent post.

The Kill Bill movies are, in my opinion, his weakest movies. I think one of his best is the one that he thinks is his worst - Death Proof. The car crash scene is incredible. It's Tarantino simply having fun and not taking his script too seriously.

Also, whomever posted a claim that no one could direct a Tarantino script and do it right...well, someone already did - Tony Scott. The movie is classic. It's called True Romance.

Give it a watch.

I was so excited about it during production... When I saw the 1st trailer it wasn't really what I was expecting... I saw it in the theater & didn't like it.. I wanted to like it so bad that I redboxed it when it came out just to try & make myself like it... I didn't care for it a bit. Sam Jackson & Leo were good in it.
