This isn’t PC to admit in 2024 considering it involves basic biology and that’s a problem post modernism and woke ideology is having hurdle they can’t overcome. It absolutely infuriates them.
ETA apologies responded to the wrong person not the smart person I quoted

This is the most typical critique of the show.
“yeah this was good when I watched it hit after I saw 7 videos picking it apart the I found a way to dislike it”
Shut up.

Ok I know we will get sidetracked and I apologize, but I would absolutely love to know what in women's biology keep them from enjoying space fantasy entertainment.

Sorry for your loss, sammy. The Knights of Gayass shite will never recover from this.

Sammy you’re absolutely embarrassing yourself. Many of us were in the season thread mocking it from the jump. We werent corrupted by people like critical drinker or nerdrotic to hate a stunning and brave move towards representation and fake marginalized people on scene like the lead actress whose born rich snd half white. We all remember you claiming the show was in fact good the entire run. Episode 1-8.

Star Wars offers the most for women than almost any other sci fi property ever has since the beginning and the audience has always skewed anywhere between 66%-75% male so idk you tell me

How come your constant spin of all of things woke on the poliboard isn’t translated here?
Like female characters by "Creatives" developing over a hero's journey, it doesn't exist.

Is it because it’s become so indefensible and mocked by society at large attempting to do so would make you a laughing stock?
No it's just a meme of emotional and unintelligent people that doesn't reflect reality.

Large sex differences in children's toy preferences are attributed to gender group identification and social learning. The proposal outlined in this paper is that contemporary conceptual categories of “masculine” or “feminine” toys are also influenced by evolved perceptual categories of male-preferred and female-preferred objects. Research on children exposed prenatally to atypical levels of androgens and research on typically developing infants suggest sex-dimorphic preferences exist for object features, such as movement or color/form. The evolution and neurobiology of mammalian visual processing—and recent findings on sex-dimorphic toy preferences in nonhuman primates—suggest further that an innate bias for processing object movement or color/form may contribute to behaviors with differential adaptive significance for males and females. In this way, preferences for objects such as toys may indicate a biological preparedness for a “masculine” or “feminine” gender role—one that develops more fully as early perceptual preferences are coupled with object experiences imposed by contemporary gender socialization.

Aw there it is. What I’ve been waiting for in your return to form. It totally doesn’t reflect reality. It’s totally not true that everywhere is dropping DEI policies, forced diversity, and social engineering multiculturalism as a good thing because it’s been so proven beyond a doubt now they cause you to make no money and your stock to crash. None of that is happening. People everywhere aren’t fed up with and openly talking about it instead of being afraid of fired from their jobs like a few years ago. Again not happening at all.
Thanks for staying consistent

In a thread posting world class melts, you've somehow managed to top them all

Sometimes I am actually a bit envious of the total fantasy world you people seem to be intent on living on no matter what. It seems very stress free and appealing. Until reality smacks me in the face in some way in my daily life and I am forced to confront that we don’t live in our own personally constructed worlds we want that make us feel warm and fuzzy.

I'm not the one that made an incredibly broad statement. I asked for the thought process behind the statement. I'm not even arguing against it, but if someone is going to state something as such a well known fact, I'm going to ask about it.
And to SlowFlow, thanks for posting an article though it does not highlight why women don't like space fantasy, just that boys and girls gravitate toward certain things. I completely agree with that, as I have 3 kids and all of them tend to like toys associated with their gender. The boys liked cars, dinosaurs, Legos and my daughter liked ponies, cats, and soft plushies.
I just was confused because one of the most popular animes for girls was one set in space. Revolutionary Girl Utena is arguably one of the top 50 animes of all time and was incredibly popular with girls. But while it has action elements it was more focused on relationships and drama which certainly appeals to girls.

You mean like you literally making up shite about me?
That kind of fantasy world, or a different kind?

You literally just answered your own question in a very well constructed and detailed manner with examples. It doesn’t seem your able to make the connection between the reasons for things being the way they are in the context of your supposition is biologically determined though.

What have I made up about you? All my replies to you ITT have been direct responses to claims you make, or your persona on the political board which is ever constant not being applied here for some mysterious reason. I’ve even claimed in posts in the past there was a time I thought you a top tier TD poster before you spent almost all your time on the poliboard spinning progressive politics. It’s like Hank got banned and you for some reasons decide to pick up his mantle

I have an example of a very popular space fantasy that appealed to girls.
So clearly girls can enjoy the genre, but Star Wars was so badly thought out that it could not get a major foothold into that demographic.

Girls and women don’t enjoy the sci fi part. They enjoy the relationship part.

Ah ok. I will never pretend to be an expert on 90's anime so i didn't feel confident stating what the fans enjoyed from the show. I didn't realize it was in your wheelhouse.
That or you are just saying stuff you want to be a fact with 0 actual backing because you believe it really hard.

No one loves to debate more than SFP. No idea if he truly believes what he says or not but he loves to argue and be a contrarian

I am not going to be wasting anymore of my time yelling into the void on this. I maintain what I initially posted which was the Acolyte was a decent show. The political attack around it blew up before anyone even watched an episode. Some of these shows are better on rewatch. Watched Episode 3 and then watched the Kenobi series. The Kenobi series was better than it got credit for and has some pretty significant open doors that need to be addressed (ie the jedi tomb). You mouthbreathers get worked up by the people and apps that control your political beliefs, and you got worked into attacking this show. You guys are the worst mindless sheeple.
