It's by far the worst. Not really that much about the rivalry just the redneck fans.

The Best That Never Was is easily the best, IMO. A lot of these are great sports docs...this one is one of the best documentaries that I've ever seen. Marcus watching his old high school tapes was a powerful arse moment.

1. One Night in Vegas - just a mess.
2. Unmatched - I was a huge tennis fan in the 80's and still didn't like this...very Oprah-like.
3. Straight Outta LA - pretty bad and I'm a Raiders fan.

ETA: I never saw the War Eagle one.

These are easily my top 4. The U is #1 though by a mile. Dupree one was very good though

ETA: forgot about Reggie Miller one, that's top 5 also

The one about Len Bias. That was 30 for 30 right? That one. Loved it. Or was it the Marcus Dupree the one I'm thinking of :lol

The smu one was good. Even if Craig James was on my tv waaaay too much.

I like the usfl one too.

I haven't seen that many.

I turned off the Marion Jones one once they skipped over her steroid taking, lying about it, and jail time for check fraud and perjury.

The ones that stood out for me:

The one about the day in June of 94, that day of the OJ chase and all those sporting events

Who Killed the USFL

Four Days in October, (the Red Sox comeback against the Yankees)

The Two Escobars

Without Bias

The Guru Of Go

Once Brothers

The Best That Never Was

Pony Excess

** and I still have yet to watch the Steve Bartman one. Have it DVR'd, just havent watched it yet. I have high hopes for that one

It's pretty good but definitely could have been 30 minutes shorter. I just watched it myself about 2 weeks ago

i watched the pony excess again last night. Think it's my favorite even though I think they used a bit too much hyperbole on how great SMU actually was.

the Marcus Dupree one and the U are 2nd and 3rd IMO

Haven't caught the 2 escobars, but I want to

I thought ESPN did a great job with the 30 for 30 and am happy they continued the documentaries with ESPN Presents. Most of these are riveting documentaries that bring to light lesser known stories.

My favorites are:
Once Brothers
The Best That Never Was
The U
*I haven't seen Two Escobars but have heard great things.

Once Brothers and The Two Escobars are way ahead of any other for me. The Two Escobars might have been the most griping documentary I've ever seen.
This is my answer.

Also, reading this thread reaffirms my thinking that The U is far and away the most overrated 30 for 30.

And the Muhammad Ali/Larry Holmes one is by far the most underrated. I think that might be because it was one of the first ones and came on before the whole thing really caught on. The Band that Wouldn't Die is really underrated as well, but I think part of that has to do with the title not sounding all that interesting.

After watching The U, I have to laugh at people that compare LSU's suspension troubles to the heyday of The U.

Best for me is probably Small Potatoes, followed by Pony Excess.

No one mentions The Band that Wouldn't Die and the Fernando one... but I liked those as well.
