The Office may be a lot of things and some may not like it but unoriginal should NEVER be used in the same sentence.

never said i liked it, but (and you know because you know where i work) , i can definitely relate to many of the situations, and how a witty british writer (in its original form) may find the humor in what is usually a boring work environment.
Though, if you just watched the opening to this episode and at least didn't chuckle, you either have absolutely zero sense of humor, or are either unemployed and have never worked that that sort of environment and just simply can't relate....cuz that shite was funny.

It reminds me of Seinfeld in a sense that people who loved it didn't understand why others didn't like it. If you said you dont like Seinfeld then people would accuse you of "not getting it".

I get it, it's just not funny to me.

I think people get into this show because of Steve Carell, hes one of those actors who will make or break a movie/tv series for people and I personally don't like him in anything he has done except for Little Miss Sunshine and ironically enough I can't stand that movie.
