I think Season 2 will have to do with the "Governor"

I wonder if the wife's comment about France and the news that the French held out are going to turn out to be related...

They'll probably go back to the comics now for what they do next, since people were saying the CDC was not in the original story. I haven't read them so I have no idea.

No CDC at all, and I understand why they did this. To kind of hint that there might not be a cure, or no "easy solution." I expect it will go right back to the comics now

Man, just really felt like this show trailed off a lot in the last 2 episodes. I'll tune in next season, but it will have to be much better(similar to the first 4) for me to stick w/ it.

Could be why they fired all the writers

At least we've learned for our zombie survival group not to go to the CDC or other government installations after z-day arrives.

I do hope season 2 improves. After letting this season soak in for awhile I've come to realize that it wasn't a stellar season. Maybe a 6 or 7 out of 10...idk. But I'm anxious to see where they go from here.

If they had started cutting some fingers off of the CDC guy they probably could have gotten the doors opened a lot quicker.
Oh, and if an ancient looking grenade could breach the glass I guess that guy was lying about it being able to withstand a rocket launcher. Or maybe that was just for the inner doors?

The inner doors could with stand a rocket launcher. I guess now the rest of the season will be fight or flight

yea, those huge doors.
This was a great season. Don't deny yourself the pleasure you've had since the beginning. i definitely think it trailed off, but Kirkman is on top of it. I have faith that he has direction and will get this thing going well.

This was pretty bad. It felt like some ending to a Resident Evil game. Maybe Darabont should fire himself. Horrible execution, and why would you want to watch these characters for seasons on end?
and I'm sure the CDC has a Hal 9000... Jesus Christ.

yeah, they could have curve balled it and killed everyone in the CDC. and started next season with a new set of survivors who may, or may not, make the right decisions that lead to survival. But that would have the same problem, of having to develop new characters.
I still like the show, but it is not without fault. How many perfect shows are there anyways??? I will take this over the majority of crap that comes through the ole boob tube.

I like the show, but the stakes need to be a bit higher in the second season. The story hasn't moved forward, it's done a complete 360 from the first episode to the last.
and if you ever need to survive an atomic-like fireball that rains down hellfire upon everything, all you have to do is duck behind a sand bag.

Yeah, I didn't dig the Resident Evil type computer story to the finale. Thought it was weak. Show's entertaining though, unique compared to a lot of stuff on TV.

I think 6 episodes really handicapped the season. They probably had to rush everything and it didn't give enough time for a real deep story

they need to let the movie/tv board write this series
