It was scary I just think I was ready for it. The first one caught me off guard with how scary it was which I think is why I like it more, it was a funner experience
I will say the part with the Asian psycho fan at the end of the dark hall was one of the scariest scenes from either movie. I think Hereditary paved the way for those types of scenes. There’s nothing more unsettling than seeing a barely visible human standing in a dark house staring at you

Spoilers…..
I thought that the dancers stalking her throughout the house and getting closer was terrifying. The one time when she looks back and they’re on each other’s shoulders

I watched this last night. I gage whether a movie is scary or not whether I have to turn my porch lights on when I go outside at my camp because we are deep in the woods and I did not have to do that after watching it last night. I was never creeped out nor did any of the jump scares make me flinch an inch.
That director loves his tight face shots so kudos to this actress for her face acting.
I thought it was fine. It followed the same road map as the first. Hallucinations, a final fight with a self-realization only to discover it didn’t matter and you were screwed anyway. I think at one point she was hallucinating within a hallucination. Inceptioned if you will.
I wonder if the shite with Morris was real or if it was the Smile demon just giving her false hope

Sometimes how you see it really helps the scare factor. I rarely e we get scared of a movie watching it at home. In a theater… I was very uncomfortable

Wow, this is pretty damn good! Anxiety levels up. Not sure on the last act like others mentioned. Part 3 I guess must be in the works already.

I have a question about the end. Can the monster "infect" an entire crowd or just a single person?
We had a debate about that.
