Well a lot of the contestants use ideas from different people.

1. Adam Lambert - Tracks of my Tears
2. Adam Lamber - Mad World
3. Matt Giraurd - So Small (terribly underrated)
4. Kris Allen - Heartless

I haven't been watching for that long but those are my top 4. As for this season, all performances have royally blown.

Yes it was the Chris Cornel version, but Cook sang it even better than him. For serious.

wow, tons of people mentioning that injured, screaching cat Adam Lambert, but not one mention of David Cook's "Always Be my baby". Not one mention of Archeletta's "Imagine"? You people drink the gay cool aid.

David cook was probably my favorite contestant ever on the show. I really liked hello by him too. Matt giraurds so small was really good too.

This season definitely sucks... To say that Tim and Aaron are in the final 7 is pretty bad

Forgot about that one, definitely legit!

You can talk about Lambert's gayness all ya want (I can't even follow him anymore he's so flaming) but he toned it down enough on AI and his vocals are second to none.

Kelly Clarkson is the Babe Ruth of American Idol. She set the standard and remains heads and shoulders above all the contestants that's ever competed on the show. She's truly an incredible talent.

She set the standard, but Carrie is better than her. She has more awards, sold more albums (domestically), is more popular in the tabloids, and is definitely way sexier.

Awards:

Clarkson - 2 Grammys, 4 AMAs

Underwood - 5 Grammys, 5 AMAs, 5 CMAs

alright, three that weren't mentioned that are definitely in my top 10 are:

1. Katie from this season doing "Let it be"

2. Blake Lewis doing "you give love a bad name", i was floored by this rendition

3. Bo Bice doing "vehicle"

He thoroughly impressed me when mentoring the contestants last week. I was shocked how helpful, knowledgeable, and honest he was.

hitting a high note is one thing. screaching is another. you should not be exhaulted for screaching.

Yeah, that was awesome.

I always like Daughtry's performance of Walk the Line and when he did Hemhorrage.

Lambert's Mad World was fantastic.

That's number 1. ^

Spots 2-10 go to Lambert, IMO.

adam lambert is like the obama of american idol. people think he's the be all end all of talent on that show. No matter what song he did, it's the greatest, b/c it was Adam Lambert...and he can scream...and they've been told that he was great.

This was the best version of this song that I've ever heard...
