The Barbie scene was really creepy.

Yeah that was awesome.
rusts backstory is great. Said he emptied his 9 into some scumbag after he witnessed him shoot up an infant with crystal to " purify" it. Dude has seen and done some fricked up shite from his narco days in houston.
I think his visions add a nice supernatural element to the show, but not being over the top. Its another well done aspect of the show

It is available around SWLA,
Never realized it was sold in Louisiana. Now I'm OK with it. FTR, I like Lone Star.

Yeah, the clouds dissipating was a pretty cool effect. Rusts been gold the past two episodes.

This show sucks so bad! They showed a 1997 Camry in 1995!

That was awesome. Reminded me of an introspective David Wooderson when he was talking about seeing shite.

Seriously, grow up. This is art, perhaps the best thing HBO has ever done. That is what you have to contribute?

The last scenes from both episodes have been near perfection. This weeks scene at the church had me tripping along with Rust.
-the flock of birds seemingly frantic flight, suddenly for a flash form the design that was on the victims back.
-Marty trudging ahead into the church, even oblivious to the giant owl, all the way to the end only to declare "nothing here" (similar to how he has approached the case thus far)
-Rust slowly soaking in the scene, looking at all the angles, much like he has approached the case thusfar, only to notice the picture cloaked behind the overgrowth......
-"sometimes I felt like I was mainlining the secret truth of the universe"

I think we have the makings of a classic on our hands with this one.

I think it was "nothing snooty". I understand why he is drinking Lone Star but Marty and his FIL were drinking it too. That doesn't make sense. This show is detail oriented and that detail is a curveball. That's all I got.
You could be bitching about literally anything else in this world and I wouldn't think of you as being as fricking retarded as I do right now.

I'm almost positive this is what they did with the dolls. I'm not sure where people are getting anything about the murder or Rust's daughters accident.

Just re-watched the scene with the Dolls...
As Marty is walking down hallway you can hear the girls say the following -
Sister 1 - "You don't have a mommy or daddy anymore. Yours just died in an accident."
Sister 2 - "How?"
Sister 1 - "In a car accident..."
Marty walks in and sees how his work affects his family and that his daughters are simulating life/death games.
Very next scene is Rust talking about how sometimes he is grateful for the way his daughter died and was spared the sorrow of life (growing up.)
Very well done...
