Probably a better way to say it.
There isn't any particular conflict between classic Warner and Paramount properties that I can think of. At least not any that should cause heartburn.

r Zaslav's rule.
Intentionally tanking a brand like HBO and calling it Max - that decision alone is worth a lot of skepticism (and that's on the business side, not the creative side).
However, it pales in comparison to what Disney has done with Lucasfilm and, to a lesser degree, Marvel (Post Avengers).

Zaslav is doing a great job if the job is to crash WB
What’s gone remarkably under the radar is the current scenario was by design. Zas’ intent from the start was additional mergers. But he wants to run the merged company so WBD is structured to be unsuitable for Disney or Comcast.
But discovery + hbo programming is totally incompatible and can’t support the acquisition of lionsgate, amc, or paramount.
In a perfect world Wbd would combine with para and then divide by studio, broadcast, and real estate.

Who ends up buying WB down the road?
Microsoft would almost certainly be interested in the games division.
