I’ve started this movie like three times and always ended up getting distracted. Going to at least get through a good chunk tonight as I work.
It is a beautiful opening. The walk through of his day is so characterful

Alright, finishing it tonight.
Man, office Christmas parties would be a lot more popular if they were like this
The more things change, the more they stay the same. The smarmy christmas card from the exec reminds me of an instagram post
The amount of straws is hilarious
“You like Castro. I mean honed you feel about Castro. That big shot in Cuba with the crazy beard. As far as I’m concerned, he’s a no good fink. Two weeks ago, I wrote him and I still haven’t heard back”
This feels like a very realistic one night stand
Oh, jeez. Sleeping pills is dark
Man, that doc is carrying her around like a doll
Not sure why Lemmon is lying so much about what’s going on
This is getting aggravating with Lemmon being a cuck for the CEO
Finished. Found it a little difficult by the end with Lemmon making things more difficult than they needed to be

Randomly watched this a few months ago
It was fine. Hard to believe it won best picture. Really not that memorable to me other than the dudes apartment smelling like pussy 24/7. His Rolodex was pretty impressive
