My wife and I, no pictures, recently had this discussion. We watched the latest Indiana Jones movie just last week and the CGI was absolutely horrendous, literally looked like some from 30 years ago.
On a positive note, we went to watch Mufasa Saturday, the movie was great and the CGI was fricking spectacular

Because one constant in modern business is to cut every cost possible. Ironically, other costs have equaled more expensive movies than better produced movies in past years.
